LiDAR (Light Detection and Ranging) uses laser pulses from a drone to measure distances and build a dense 3D point cloud of the terrain. It penetrates vegetation to reveal ground surface and is ideal for forestry, mining, and engineering where bare-earth models, contours, and elevation data are needed. We use LiDAR alongside photogrammetry depending on project goals.

Yes. We've been certified with a Transport Canada Advanced Operations license since it became available in 2019, and we carry full liability insurance for commercial work.

While most of our work is for industrial and environmental clients, we do occasionally take on smaller projects, including inspections and mapping for private landowners.

We can capture high-resolution orthomosaics with ground sample distances (GSD) as fine as 1 cm per pixel, depending on altitude and terrain. This level of detail supports accurate measurements, overlays, and professional analysis in engineering and GIS workflows.

We typically achieve 100 to 300 points per square meter, depending on altitude, flight speed, and overlap settings. This density is ideal for generating detailed terrain models, contours, and bare-earth surfaces, even in forested or vegetated areas.
